According to The Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC, 2008) group leaders must: “1) be sensitive to the dynamics that occur when groups are formed that include only one representative of any minority culture and consider the necessity of

National Association of Social Workers - National Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues

The National Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues promotes the development of knowledge, theory and practice as related to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues.
